I advise my couples that I arrive 1.5 - 2 hours prior to the ceremony. This way, I can capture some of the most special moments of the day. Final hair and make-up touches, any special little trinkets that you may have, i.e. your shoes, perfume, jewellery, and the dress, of course. I can capture you putting on your dress with your bridesmaids help, and I can capture your Dads first look at you in your wedding dress. Some really special moments happen the morning of your wedding, emotions are high, the excitement is mixed with the normal feelings of anxiety, and the Bucks Fizz is definitely flowing. Whilst the bride is catching her breath after putting on her dress, I will whizz down to the groom and capture him and his groomsmen patiently waiting for his beaut bride to walk down the aisle.

Obviously, times-are-a-changing, and not everyone feels the need for the traditional format for the morning of the wedding. A lot of my couples have actually got ready together, and this just calls for even more special images the morning of your big day. Or, have you considered a ‘first look’ with just the bride and groom? Becoming ever more popular and also makes for some truly special images.

Let me know upon booking if that is what you plan to do, and we can talk through how that may look. See below for the outcome of the first look.
